Ron Adams will lead the Borden Health Center and Webster Assisted Living Center.
Jan Bigelow, CEO/Executive Director, has announced that veteran nursing home administrator, Ron Adams, joined Kendal at Lexington as the organization’s new Health Administrator (NHA) for the Borden Health Center and Webster Assisted Living Center. Adams’s first day at Kendal at Lexington was October 3, 2022.
Adams has extensive experience in long-term care and is an industry expert in leading skilled nursing centers.
“I began working in Long Term Care when I was 19, and I have a passion for helping create quality living environments for our seniors and rewarding working environments for my team,” expresses Ron. “I am a firm believer in Servant Leadership and strive to lead by example. I’ve worked in many challenging environments in my career, and I feel blessed to be a part of the Kendal team”.
“Ron has an impressive record of achievement in the management of nursing centers,” said CEO Jan Bigelow. “He also brings a positive energy, and his care for the well-being of residents and staff is highly evident.”
Ron was recently the Executive Director of the Envoy of Staunton in Staunton, VA. He has held other successful Nursing Administrator roles throughout his career, including for The Laurels of Charlottesville in Charlottesville, VA, and Messenger House Care Center in Bainbridge Island, WA.
The Borden and Webster Centers at Kendal at Lexington currently serve approximately 60 residents in a person-centered, high-quality care setting.
About Ron
Ron was born in Lebanon, Missouri. He attended Drury College in Springfield, MO., where he studied Psychology and Sociology. He attended Webster University outside St. Louis, MO., and attained a Master of Arts from Webster’s School of Business and Technology. He met his wife, Yulia (Julie), in the Registrar’s office at Webster, and they’ve been together ever since. They have one daughter who turned 22 in March who has recently moved to Chicago to be an artist.
