October 15, 2019 —We are so pleased to announce the receipt of $56,000 designated for the Fellowship Fund. The donor, a current resident, was inspired to make the gift to help assure that the Fellowship Fund will be adequate to meet future resident needs as those needs may arise.
The donor’s generous spirit cannot be exaggerated,” said Mina Tepper, Kendal’s Executive Director. In making the gift, the donor said that its purpose is to help Kendal residents who may need assistance at some future date and thus contribute to the overall security and comfort of being a Kendal resident.
Furthermore, the donor expressed the hope that the gift will inspire others to similarly recognize that the Fellowship Fund is so very important to the very fabric of Kendal at Lexington, as it is designed to help residents in times of unexpected financial need. But in order for the Fund to play in that vital role, it must grow in the future as a result of continuing philanthropic support, the donor observed.
