Kendal at Lexington® Names Debbie Curry-Lee as Director of Nursing
(Lexington, Virginia) – Kendal at Lexington is pleased to announce the selection of Debbie Curry-Lee for the position of Director of Nursing. Debbie comes to Kendal with a broad range of clinical and administrative nursing expertise. She has served as Director of Nursing for a long-term care facility in the region, as well as a registered nurse in both long-term care and hospital settings. After receiving her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Dabney S. Lancaster Community College, Debbie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Jefferson College of Health and Science.
“We are excited to welcome Debbie to the Kendal team,” states Charlotte Sibold, Administrator of Kendal’s Borden Center. “Debbie comes to us with a strong background in nursing management. She will be an integral part of assuring quality care and outcomes for the residents of the Borden Center.”
In this leadership role, Debbie will directly supervise and train all nursing staff utilizing a person-centered approach to care. Debbie began her duties in late August and she’s enjoying getting to know the Borden Center’s residents, their family members, and the dedicated nursing staff.
About Kendal at Lexington’s Borden Center: The Borden Center opened in 2002 and is the only not-for-profit nursing center in the Lexington/Rockbridge area. With the capacity to serve 60 individuals, the Borden Center offers long-term care and short-term skilled rehabilitation to Kendal residents as well as individuals from the greater Rockbridge County area.
