
Kendal at Lexington will host a blood drive on July 27 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Kendal Hall on the Kendal at Lexington campus. The blood drive is being sponsored by the American Red Cross and is open to the public.
“We are excited to partner with the American Red Cross to host this blood drive,” said Danielle Mohler, Director of Clinical Services. “Blood donations are essential to saving lives, and we are grateful for the opportunity to help meet the needs of our community.”
To donate blood, donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. Donors will be asked to complete a brief health history questionnaire and provide a photo ID.
The blood drive will take place in Kendal Hall, located at 160 Kendal Dr. in Lexington, VA. Parking is available on the Kendal at Lexington campus.
