Kendal is proud to sponsor the Lexington Science Festival on Sunday, October 5th from 2:00-5:00 p.m. in Downtown Lexington. This family-friendly event is part of the statewide Virginia Science Festival. Rae Carpenter, a Kendal resident and science wiz, will be participating.
The Lexington Science Festival will feature an exciting array of physics, chemistry, robotics, and engineering exhibits sponsored by professors, students, and local enthusiasts. Through demonstrations and hands-on activities, event participants will have the opportunity to actively engage in a variety of ways throughout the festival. Selected demonstrations designed for easy replication at home will enable participants to share with others what they have seen and learned. The Lexington Festival is free to the public.
