June 11, 2021 —Brandy Hostetter awarded LeadingAge Virginia accolade
LEXINGTON, Va. (June 7, 2021) – Kendal at Lexington Director of Nursing for the Borden Health Center, Brandy Hostetter, R.N., has been granted the 2021 Emerging Leader Award by LeadingAge Virginia. The Annual Emerging Leader Awards Program recognizes an early-career leader who makes a unique contribution to the field in areas of service, administration or education; demonstrates passion, dedication and commitment to understanding and applying leadership concepts and values.
As an employee of Kendal at Lexington for 11 years, Hostetter has served in a variety of roles including a long-tenure as Assistant Director of Nursing where she exemplified a commitment to professional development and leadership growth, active involvement in professional and community organizations that promote the aging service field, and positive resident life enrichment. A graduate of Jefferson College of Health Sciences , she has served as a nurse for more than 13 years.
LeadingAge Virginia is an association that represents non-profit entities that provide a full continuum of older adult services, such as the Kendal at Lexington Life Plan Retirement Community.
