Kendal Hall

For the past several months, Kendal at Lexington’s Culture and Entertainment Committee has featured events designed to help residents and the greater Lexington/Rockbridge community embrace the power of history, story and connection.

The latest event in the year-long theme, dubbed “Celebrate YOUR Story: Exploring the History and Stories That Shape Us,” will take us through the oral history of Kendal at Lexington’s beginnings. Now celebrating their 25th year, the dream of a retirement community in Lexington began with a few passionate people who formed the Lexington Retirement Community Board. For this event, many of the original board members will reunite to tell stories and share how Kendal at Lexington went from vision to reality.

The panel will be moderated by Tom Camden and Ted Delaney and held on Wednesday, November 13 at 3:00 p.m. in Kendal Hall on the Kendal at Lexington campus. Free and open to the public. Reception to follow.
