Community Service Day

Kendal at Lexington recognizes the benefits that both the community and the volunteer derive from acts of volunteer community service.   Kendal wishes to serve the broader community through the skills, talents, and energy of its staff members, and desires that staff members learn first hand the growth opportunities that come from volunteerism.

Staff members who work an average of forty hours per week are permitted to have one paid day each calendar year to perform service for a community service agency or other not-for-profit organization in the local community.
