Opportunities
for Giving
General/Unrestricted
Fund
Donations to this fund - which can be designated for the Benjamin Borden Health Center or Kendal at Lexington - allow the
Board to use principal and income to support the highest priority,
such as direct debt reduction, with its moderating effect on monthly
fee increases or to help purchase a needed piece of equipment.
The flexibility afforded by unrestricted funds, whether they come
in the form of a gift, a memorial contribution, or bequest, allows
the Board to apply the money exactly where it is needed most,
whenever it is received.
Assistance for Residents
The Fellowship Fund serves residents of Kendal at Lexington who may experience financial reversals, out-live their resources, or have a one-time need. This outreach has been identified both as an integral part of the Kendal mission and a top priority for charitable gifts.
Support for Staff
Staff Education Programs
support Kendal's stated value to "foster a high quality work experience
for employees, recognizing that our communities must be good places
to work if they are to be good places to live."
