Become
a Volunteer at Kendal
Many Kendal residents
and staff spend time volunteering in the Lexington-Rockbridge
community, and here in the Kendal community. However, Kendal also benefits greatly from
volunteers from the Lexinton area who have offered us their time and talents.
VMI cadets have spent
hours working on the Borden Center garden as part of their community
service weekend. W&L students visit with residents in
the Webster Center regularly. SVU students and Kendal residents
have put on a musical show featuring Broadway
show tunes. Local church groups lead worship services weekly in
the Borden Center. A local girl scout troop has their meetings
at Kendal and children from the Montessori Center visit with residents
monthly.
Volunteering in our
community can be a rewarding experience for the volunteer and
for residents. With the help of volunteers, our community
can accomplish its highest level of service to residents.
Volunteers are an important part of our community, and we appreciate
the time and talents that they share.
If you would like to volunteer at
Kendal at Lexington, please contact the Resident
Life Coordinator .
