Site Development and Construction
Phase II construction consists of 35 cottages, an apartment building addition consisting of 14 apartments, remodeling and expansion of the dining area, expansion of the library and addition of a gathering room, and a new wellness center with swimming pool and fitness rooms.
April 8 and 9
Wellness Center foundation is being prepared. Anderson Center restoration is underway for the new library. Work continues on the forms for foundation work for Anderson expansion which will include addition of a restaurant on lower level and a gathering room on upper level.
  
March 11 and 12
Below, trusses for the apartment building's roof are just visible in the background of the first photo. In the second, a cottage is nearly ready for occupancy. In the third, forms are being constructed prior to pouring the foundation for the Anderson Center Expansion.
  
In first photo, the surface of Sycamore Lane is being graded in preparation for asphalt. The second shows the view down Sycamore Lane toward the east and first phase cottages (foundations for Phase II cottages along Sycamore will be poured in the coming month). In the third photo, the stone face has been applied to a cottage.
  
March 4 and 5, 2008
Framing has begun on the third floor of the apartment building (photo 1). Forms are being built and steel tied for the community center expansion (photos 2 and 3).
  
The bistro is nearly complete and opening is tentatively set for March 20th.
  
February 4, 2008
The foundation for the apartment building addition has been poured. The first kitchen is being installed in a cottage. The dining room renovations continue (See September 2007 photos in construction archive for comparison). See below:

Work continues on cottages. The apartment building foundation is being poured. The new bistro is awaiting cabinetry and equipment. Site work has begun on the community center expansion.
